Resurrection / Reconcilliation

As some of us know, the “little deaths” – of relationships, of other losses, can be even more painful than actual physical death. So what does resurrection mean in regard to these times when our lives break into a thousand pieces and we feel destroyed?

First, it means allowing forgiveness – of others, of self, of even God – to wash away the bitterness and heal the pain. It means letting God sort thru the pieces, remold and fit them together into a new, far better life, one that will never be destroyed.  It means being willing to have a confident expectation (that’s hope!), that I can begin, now, to live as God’s own child, with His nature, instead of the selfish human nature that broke the old “me”.
