Response to Joplin tornado

Please see the church FB page for further updates.

We are encouraging people to give what they can, to help survivors of this devastating tornado. Volunteering and giving is not limited to the church, and if you choose to assist, please contact the RedCross at SMU to coordinate.

As a church, we will receive a special offering on Sunday, as we will partner with Galena First Assembly (http://galenapastor.blogspot.com/) as they do the following:

ACTIONS: Galena will be setting up a tent in the middle of the devastation to serve out drinks, meals, etc. The tent will be erected Wednesday afternoon. If you would like to help, please let Pastor Paul know so he can get the message to the right people. If you get a voice mail please leave a message. He will get back with you.

NEEDS: Other items they are needing, in the are of personal items, are underwear, socks, clothing of other types.
They will also be needing any food stuffs that you can provide. They are planning to not only do food boxes but serve out meals. Also, there is going to be a need for cash...
